Applications for the on-campus session are due on April 19. Applications for learn-at-home sessions starting June 17, July 1, and July 15 are due on May 10. Students who apply, are accepted, and fully registered by March 8 can save $400 off the full fee for the on-campus academy or $200 off the full fee of the learn-from-home academy. We have limited need-based scholarships and financial aid available to students; students must email us for more information.

The University of Alabama College of Engineering is hosting E-Day on Thursday, February 22, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. This open house event provides middle and high school students the chance to learn more about majors and career opportunities available in engineering and computer science. Students will also receive information about admissions, housing, financial aid and other college readiness topics.

Students have until 11:59 p.m. CDT on Friday, October 20, to apply for free via the UA Undergraduate App. Applications submitted via the Common App will continue to require a $40 application fee during this week.

The Wilson College of Textiles welcomes you to endorse your students for our incoming first-year textile scholarships. The Wilson College is home to one of the largest per student college-based scholarship programs at NC State University. We were able to award over $1.1 million in scholarships to 100+ students for the 2023-24 academic year.
Which students are a good fit for these scholarships? Our scholarships are designed for students who are interested in career fields such as engineering, business management, design, chemistry, polymers, forensics, medicine, fashion merchandising and retail management. Competitive applicants demonstrate high academic achievement, strong leadership qualities, involvement in extracurricular activities and civic engagement and interest in textile-related careers. In order to be considered for a scholarship students must submit a completed NC State admissions application by the Early Action deadline: Nov. 1. Real Talk virtual event series for Black students and their parents is back! We’re kicking off the season with two nights to help students decide whether an HBCU (Historical Black College and University) or PWI (Predominantly White Institution) is right for them. Black students and their families are encouraged to attend both Real Talk events on October 3rd and 10th to compare their options and make the best college choices for them. These events are the perfect opportunity for students to interact directly with admissions reps and current college students.
