The deadline to apply is March 11, 2021Welcome to the Lockheed Martin Vocational Scholarship Program! Whether you are a student, parent, family member, instructor, school administrator, or just interested in STEM education, we are excited to share more about our efforts to support the academic endeavors of learners across the nation. In January 2020, Lockheed Martin launched the Vocational Scholarship program to support students of all ages participating in skills-based training in cutting-edge technology and advanced manufacturing fields. The scholarship seeks to fund students pursuing associate degrees, credit-bearing certificates, or industry-recognized credentials in specific disciplines at an accredited vocational technical school, trade school, or two-year community college. Funded in part by tax reform proceeds, the Vocational Scholarship program is a critical component of Lockheed Martin’s investment in workforce development and education. Lockheed Martin’s Vocational Scholarship Program is the first of its kind within the aerospace and defense industry and awards up to $6,600 to as many as 150 recipients each year. Through the scholarship, Lockheed Martin hopes to encourage students to consider a rewarding career in the technology and advanced manufacturing industry. Application opens January 14, 2021.
