This scholarship was established to promote the higher education of students who attended Windy Hill Middle School. The scholarship is funded by the Windy Hill Middle PTSO.
Amount of scholarship: $1,000 Deadline is May 1st, 2024 Any Vietnamese American graduating from high school and residing in Maryland, who is enrolled as a first-year student at a university, college, or vocational school in the Fall of 2024 may apply to the MVMA College Scholarship Program. The Scholarship recipients will be required to participate in at least one MVMA community activity or outreach event in the upcoming academic year. Deadline is May 6, 2024
The program is free and has no costs. Students can count their participation for community service hours and TurnUp is authorized to give out awards and certificates, including The President’s Volunteer Service Award. The internship has also been invaluable for bolstering resumes, widening networking reach, and for earning college letters of recommendation.
The new scholarship cycle for FY-25 is now open. This application cycle is available for rising Seniors. The Scholarship offers up to $200,000 tuition. See flyer below for more information.

On Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 10:00 am this virtal competition is open to all high school students, 9th through 12th grades that are interested in showcasing their skills and creativity in STEM and/or an opportunity to showcase their public speaking skills.
