SMCM is Test Optional Why did we make this decision? Well, it was not in reaction to the very real challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic has placed on all of us. Our decision had been made beforehand, based on experience and data. As you would expect of an honors college, we made this decision after thorough research. We want our admission process to be more thoughtful, inclusive, and equitable as we seek to enroll a diverse community with the talent, ambition and potential for success. Please feel free to reach out to me or to one of our counselors if you need information or have any questions.
