Students must meet a 3.7 cumulative GPA minimum to be eligible. Students need to submit the Presidential Fellowship application by November 1; finalists will be invited to interview. The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) assists students who are migrant or seasonal/temporary farmworkers (or children of such workers) enrolled in their first year of undergraduate studies at colleges and universities. The funding provides academic, financial, and social/health supports to ensure success. What is I’M³ POWER CAMP Scholars Program? It is a CAMP Program in the Samuel W. and Marilyn C. Seidel School of Education at Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland. The I’M³ POWER CAMP Scholars Program provides significant financial supports as well as other educational supports to migrant or seasonal/temporary farmworkers and their families who wish to attend Salisbury University to pursue any major. This fall, we’re so excited to connect with your students, that for a few weeks only we’re doubling our Visit Incentive Grant. The writing center is located in room M-313, and is open every day during both lunch shifts.The scholarship application deadline is January 8, 2022.![]() Towson UTeach, Towson University’s program to prepare future secondary school mathematics and science teachers, is pleased to announce the availability of Kahlert Foundation Scholarships ($2,500 per year for up to four years) to be awarded to incoming freshmen who enroll at the university in Fall 2022 and plan to pursue a career in secondary school mathematics or science teaching. The scholarship application deadline is January 8, 2022. Students who complete the Towson UTeach Program earn a bachelor’s degree in their chosen content area (mathematics, biology, chemistry, earth-space science, physics, or computer science) along with the necessary education coursework for secondary school (grades 7-12) teaching certification in Maryland. Towson UTeach incorporates several novel approaches to teacher preparation: 1) early and frequent field placements in local public schools starting in the freshman year; 2) education courses focused on and dedicated to the pedagogy of mathematics and science; and 3) master teachers, former exemplary public-school teachers, who serve as coaches throughout the students’ four years.
