Science and Engineering Apprentice Program (SEAP) http://seap.asee.org/ The Science and Engineering Apprentice Program (SEAP) places academically talented high school students with interest and ability in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) as apprentices in Department of Defense (DoD) laboratories (e.g. NAWCAD) for eight weeks during the summer. Students must be U.S. citizens and at least 16 years old at the time of application. $3,500-$4,000 stipend for the summer. Students must be US Citizens and be an Undergraduate with 31 college credits: Sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student. $7,000-$11,000 stipend. Students are hired upon graduation. While in school they will receive full tuition and fees (up to five years), annual stipend from $25,000 (undergrad) to $38,000 (graduate student), paid summer internships at future DoD Facility (average 10 weeks), Post-graduation employment - 1 to 1 payback. Students must be US Citizen, 18 years of age or older, and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
