That’s right! The Live Más Scholarship is not based on your grades or how well you play sports. No essays, no test scores, no right or wrong answers. We’re looking for the next generation of innovators, creators and dreamers. In 2018, the Taco Bell Foundation will be awarding $3 million in Live Más Scholarships. $1 million will be awarded through our new applicant program, $1.5 million through our renewal program for previous recipients, and $500,000 through our program for Taco Bell restaurant employees. We are pleased to once again extend the Hamilton Relay Scholarship opportunity to graduating high school seniors in Maryland who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind or have difficulty speaking to assist in their goals of continuing their education. Hamilton Relay selects one candidate from each of the states where Hamilton is the contracted service provider. All candidates are required to submit an application, write an essay under the topic of communication technology and provide a letter of recommendation in order to qualify. The application documents can also be found online atwww.hamiltonrelay.com. The scholarship deadline is March 1, 2018 and applications must be received or postmarked by this date. The scholarship is in the amount of $500 and the winner will be determined on or before April 30, 2018. We are offering a $1,000 award to students pursuing a health-related degree program who have been personally affected by addiction. Deadline: June 30, 2018 The Recovery Village is dedicated to maintaining exceptional service while providing unique opportunities for education and personal development. As part of this commitment, The Recovery Village is offering a $1,000 scholarship to students pursuing a medical-related course of study. To enter to win a $1,000 scholarship, simply submit a short essay (no more than 500 words) describing why you are passionate about substance use disorder and mental health treatment. Essays can be in the form of a personal narrative with a medical perspective or focus specifically on clinical experience. Do you have a compelling recovery story? Have you witnessed the challenges that addiction can present, or helped someone overcome substance use disorder?
