March 31st application deadlineBelow is a scholarship opportunity for minority students at Tennessee State University (TSU); males and females. TSU plans to offer the scholarship annually. Thank you for your interest in the Dr. Levi Watkins TSU to Meharry Accelerated program. To be considered for the program, a student must be admitted to Tennessee State University as a first-time freshman and domestic student for Fall 2021. The TSU application is here https://www.tnstate.edu/admissions/apply1.aspx. Then, they should apply at www.tnstate.edu/watkins. The admissions requirements for the Dr. Levi Watkins program are a 28 ACT/1310 SAT and 3.5 GPA. The benefits of this program are: 1. Scholarship Including Tuition, Fees, and Room & Board 2. Live in Honors College (Year 1) Live in New Residence Hall (Years 2 and 3) 3. MCAT/DAT prep with a mentorship with Meharry Professors, Current Students, and Alumni 4. Earn a Biology degree in 3 years Students who meet the admissions requirements will be interviewed for the program. Students who do not meet the admissions requirements will be considered for the traditional TSU to Meharry four-year program.
